Canada Day & My Business Lunch Outfit Story

Happy Early Canada Day! 🍁

Tomorrow is Canada Day, and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate! Wishing everyone an amazing day filled with joy, togetherness, and a little bit of red and white spirit.

Today, I had a business lunch meeting at a lovely Italian restaurant called Bonterra Trattoria. The food and ambiance were amazing, and it was the perfect setting to connect with a prospect. For the occasion, I wore a cute brown match set outfit—a top paired with a skort (skirt + shorts).

Here’s the little story behind the outfit: I actually purchased two sets of this brown top and skort in different sizes. My top is a Size M, while my skort is a Size S. As a petite woman with curves, finding the perfect fit can be a bit of a challenge, but I adore how this outfit came together. To make it look a bit more formal and professional, I layered it with a white jacket. It’s amazing how a simple jacket can elevate an outfit!

The weather today has been absolutely gorgeous—perfect for soaking up some vitamin D and recharging. I also recently ordered a few jackets for business wear, which I’ll be reviewing in an upcoming post. Stay tuned!
